Dave's Fund For Cancer Patients
Dave's Fund was first started in 1994 by David Grant Wright to benefit the day-to-day needs of cancer patients at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. This is where David was a patient for 5 months during his cancer experience. In the 15 years of its existence, the fund has grown in both size and scope. Dave's Fund has now provided financial support to hospitals and cancer centers all across the United States. Under the guidance of Oncology Nurses at these facilities, Dave's Fund has purchased: turbans, hats, wigs, soap, shampoo, bulletin boards, cards, cd players, televisions, movies, books, balloons, flowers, refreshments, decorations, blanket warmers, coffee pots, and medicine. David would like to thank those who supported Dave's Fund for all these years by attending With Flying Colors events. Many, many grateful Cancer patients have benefited from your generosity.
